$1.1 billion secured for residence design, improvements on post and at 5 other installations

FORT HOOD, Texas (KWTX) – The U.S. Military has authorised terms negotiated by Lendlease, the corporation that owns and operates housing on various installations, for $1.1 billion in money investment from public monetary institutions to accelerate housing building and advancements at Fort Hood and 5 other installations.

The funding will pace up enhancements to 12,000 existing residences at Fort Hood, Fort Campbell, Fort Knox, Fort Wainwright, Fort Drum, and on Oahu and will fork out for development of a lot more than 1,200 new homes at Fort Hood, Fort Campbell, Fort Knox and Fort Wainwright, and a significant part of the funding is heading to Fort Hood.
