The U.S. Army has authorized phrases negotiated by the business that owns and operates housing on various installations for $1.1 billion in cash financial commitment from public fiscal establishments to accelerate housing building and enhancements at Fort Hood and five other installations. (File)

The funding will pace up enhancements to 12,000 existing residences at Fort Hood, Fort Campbell, Fort Knox, Fort Wainwright, Fort Drum, and on Oahu and will fork out for development of a lot more than 1,200 new homes at Fort Hood, Fort Campbell, Fort Knox and Fort Wainwright, and a significant part of the funding is heading to Fort Hood.
