An elderly pair, whose uninsured residence was ruined in a gas explosion, say they are “overwhelmed” just after acquiring aid from their regional community.

Hundreds of people have stepped forward to give help to Josie Cornish, 75, and her husband Alan, 73, following their dwelling and belongings were turned into rubble.
