Builder arrested for false criticism

The Delhi Law enforcement on Friday claimed they experienced arrested a private builder and a painter contractor for allegedly hatching an extortion conspiracy so that the former could get security go over from the law enforcement and prevent refunding cash of his lenders. On the alleged recommendations of the builder, the contractor experienced sent a letter by means of courier to him, threatening that the builder would be killed if ₹25 lakh was not paid out, the police stated.

“We have arrested Gaurav Jain, a builder by job, after the contractor Ashok Yadav, who worked for him, was caught in the extortion scenario and he disclosed that he dedicated the criminal offense on Jain’s directions. Jain had promised to give him large contracts in his construction jobs if he joined him in the conspiracy by means of which he desired to deceive his lenders and get law enforcement protection,” stated deputy commissioner of law enforcement (east) Deepak Yadav.

On December 29, the DCP claimed, Jain filed a complaint at the Preet Vihar law enforcement station and alleged that he acquired a danger letter demanding R25 lakh as extortion. An extortion situation was registered and through the probe, investigators verified the function of all staff members, contractors, labourers, associates, kinfolk, and relatives associates of Jain, he explained.
