ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – A delivery driver was killed Sunday night time when a load of building materials fell on him at a House Depot store in Florida, law enforcement claimed.

Information stores report that a load of drywall struck 47-12 months-aged Cyrenus Leroy Amon around 7:30 p.m. at a House Depot shop in St. Petersburg.

Amon was offering resources for United States Gypsum Co., St. Petersburg law enforcement spokeswoman Yolanda Fernandez instructed news shops. A assertion from the corporation stated Amon was used by a 3rd-bash carrier that was delivering USG merchandise. The USG assertion did not name the carrier.

The U.S. Occupational Basic safety and Health Administration will investigate the incident, she said.

“We’re deeply saddened by this tragic accident, and our feelings are with the loved ones and loved types,” Residence Depot explained in a statement. “We right away contacted the good authorities and are working with them on their investigation.”

This story has been corrected to demonstrate that Amon was used by a 3rd-party provider, not United States Gypsum Co.
