FLINT, Mich. (WJRT)(02/04/21)- -Janet Rauch and partner Maryetta Robinson have lived in their Flint dwelling for 20 many years. But it’s been component of Janet’s everyday living for a good deal longer.

“My mother and father bought this home I consider it was 1940.” Rauch reported.

So the residence understandably– has found improved times. 1 of the biggest difficulties– the roof- final changed in 2004.

“If it was windy like this, it’s hard to set a tarp on. We’d get a significant gust of wind and then it would change, rain and we’d get rips. It was a nightmare,” Robinson claimed.

It was not just the leaky roof in want of repair service… the rest room was falling apart as effectively.

But the retired couple was on a fastened earnings – and generating the repairs seemed unlikely.
