Former Bay View Suminski Family Funeral Home to become 14 apartments

The former Suminski Family Funeral Home in Bay View is being converted into 14 apartments.

Two housing developments, the conversion of a former funeral residence to apartments and the development of six duplexes, are planned for Milwaukee’s Bay See community.

The previous Suminski Family Funeral House, 2480-2486 S. Kinnickinnic Ave., would be remodeled into 14 apartments underneath designs filed with the city Division of Neighborhood Companies.

The three-story, 17,400-sq.-foot developing was bought in September for $875,000 by BV KK LLC, in accordance to town assessment data.
