Northville — Relatives and mates of a Northville family members who perished in a Jan. 2 plane crash in Lyon Township collected Wednesday to remember and honor them.

David S. Compo, 60 wife, Michele, 55 and their son, Dawson, 18 were being all killed when the single-motor Piper PA-24 crashed into a household on Dakota Travel in the Orchards of Lyon subdivision — about a 50 percent mile from the Oakland/Southwest Airport.
