The four-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom residence was built in 2007 for Daniel Gilyeat, a U.S. Marine who lost his leg after a bomb hit his truck during his second tour in Iraq, Kevin Green Homes reported. The house suffered some setbacks, which included cracks in the ceiling in 2014 that Gilyeat told Fox4 were there since the home’s construction.

I’m extremely grateful that they built the house,” Gilyeat told Fox4. “I’m extremely grateful that the community came together and built the house. I would just (like) for them to fix what they said they were going to fix.”

The 2,888-square-foot home sits on 1.1 acres and “still looks like new,” the listing on Platinum Realty says. Features of the house include:

The emotional episode titled “The Gilyeat Family” aired in 2008 during the show’s fifth season. Host Ty Pennington and a crew, along with hundreds of volunteers, built the house as the Gilyeat family vacationed in Southern California and had a surprise meeting with singer/actor Miley Cyrus.
