(“Home Capital” or “the Company”) (TSX: HCG) announces that a settlement has been attained with West Experience Prolonged Term Alternatives Worldwide Grasp LP, a Cayman Islands constrained partnership which opted out of a world settlement of a securities class action manufactured by the Enterprise in 2017.

The settlement is a compromise of a disputed claim and is not an admission of legal responsibility or wrongdoing by the Enterprise or any other defendant named in the action nor has there been any getting of legal responsibility by the Court docket versus any of them.

The amount of money of the demand taken to get there at this settlement is not material to the economical effects of the Company.
