Saint Louis University officials say they have begun planning a new residence for Jesuit monks to swap its present growing old residence.

The new home will be constructed on SLU’s north campus, and will have 20 bedrooms for SLU Jesuits and 5 for guests. It will also have a chapel, eating place and conference rooms.

The new residence will be positioned on the north facet of Laclede Avenue, just west of Spring Avenue, with Fusz Hall to the North and Beracha and Spring Halls to the east. The challenge is identical to new Jesuit residences constructed not long ago at Loyola University Chicago and Marquette College, SLU officers mentioned in a launch.
