Ulrika Jonsson’s daughter gave her a makeover to help cheer her up though she nonetheless mourns the passing of her dog Nessie.

The Television presenter, 53, took to Instagram Tales and admitted ‘tears keep on falling’ as she grieves for her pooch, who died in December aged 9.  

Ulrika shared a image of herself together with daughter Martha, 16, who gave her some major eye makeup as she tried to lift her mother’s spirits.

It arrives after Ulrika uncovered in late December that her ‘first born fur baby’ Nessie experienced died.

The star had advised how she was ‘beyond distraught and bereft’ that her almost 10-calendar year-old Nessie wasn’t going to ‘win her battle’. 

Posting a image of her bulldog, Ulrika wrote: ‘Ma grande dame. My very first born fur child. Has used 48hrs at our pretty vet’s. She’s not going to get this struggle.

‘I’ve been outside of distraught and bereft. We will hold her at home as extended as we can. My lady. #nessie.’

Just two months previously, Ulrika had discovered that Nessie had spent time at the vets due to her kidneys failing her and an infected tooth. 

Ulrika also has fellow bulldogs Leo and Fella, but she sadly revealed in October that Leo had been identified with most cancers whilst Fella was diagnosed with dementia in excess of the summertime.

The star was meant to be fostering Fella for just two months, but could not deliver herself to enable him go and eventually adopted him completely in 2019.
