Home collapses in Manor, 2 workers injured and 1 rescued from rubble
MANOR, Texas (KXAN) — A house less than design collapsed in a Manor neighborhood and a person had to be rescued from the rubble, Austin-Travis County EMS claimed Monday.
Two people today experienced “potentially serious” accidents, ATCEMS reported, but the injuries weren’t considered everyday living-threatening. One man or woman was taken to Seton Williamson County clinic and the other was taken to St. David’s Health care Center in Round Rock, ATCEMS mentioned.
The Manor Law enforcement Department reported the injury to the house and issues all around it prompt the region experienced substantial winds. MPD stated electrical power strains have been down and portable bogs have been blown more than all-around the website. MPD verified the two people taken to hospitals had been development workers functioning on the house.
MPD mentioned crews will be at the house to investigate further Tuesday.
The dwelling is in the 14500 block of Shooter McGavin Push near Jamie Avenue north of U.S. Highway 290 and just south of Manor Significant Faculty.
ATCEMS said its staff and Travis County ESD No. 12 responded to the scene.
